Led by experienced bankers from Frost Bank, it covers credit building, financial statements, cash flow management, and loan readiness. The program helps participants improve credit, make informed decisions, and access capital.

 

Week 1: Financial Health Foundations – Understand key financial terms, assess business health
Week 2: Personal Credit & Business Loans – Learn how personal credit impacts business financing
Week 3: Building & Leveraging Business Credit – Steps to establish, build, and use business credit effectively
Week 4: Understanding Financial Statements – Read and interpret profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Week 5: Cash Flow Management – Forecast cash flow, manage expenses, and plan for growth
Week 6: Loan Readiness & Final Coaching – How to prepare a strong loan package and access funding

Eligiblity

To be eligible for this program, participants must be early-stage or growing small business owners. Priority will be given to those who have historically faced barriers to financial resources or training. The program is designed to equip participants with essential tools and knowledge to support the growth of sustainable and successful businesses.

Seleccion

Participants for the Capital Readiness Program will be selected based on their alignment with the program’s mission and goals. Our target audience includes early-stage and growing small business owners, as well as individuals seeking to strengthen their financial skills. To be considered, applicants should demonstrate at least one of these key attributes, as the program is designed to support those navigating challenges in accessing capital and building long-term financial confidence.

Expected Outcomes

Participants can expect to gain increased confidence in managing their business finances, along with improved personal and business credit profiles. The program also supports better cash flow forecasting and management, ultimately helping small businesses become more loan-ready with a clearer, more strategic path to accessing capital.
