Augie’s Alamo City BBQ Steakhouse will be having their grand re-opening on June 19th, 2020 starting at 12 pm at 909 Broadway St. San Antonio TX 78215. Augie’s BBQ is a locally owned Smoke and Steakhouse in San Antonio with two locations. The restaurant will be having a special Buy One Give One promotion for healthcare and frontline workers.
Local BBQ Steakhouse Owner, Augie Cortez, has partnered with a local non-profit, Maestro Entrepreneur Center (MEC), for the restaurants grand re-opening to promote Buy Local Grow SA. Buy Local Grow SA is an initiative to grow San Antonio’s local business economy. The restaurant will be having a special Buy One Give One promotion for healthcare and frontline workers.
To celebrate their grand reopening and the reopening of many small businesses, Augie’s BBQ Steakhouse will be hosting MEC as the non-profit registers local business owners for their small business initiative, Buy Local Grow SA.
Buy Local Grow SA is an initiative geared towards locally owned businesses in San Antonio. The mission of Buy Local is to encourage business to business opportunities as well as encouraging San Antonians to support their locally owned businesses. This initiative is to serve as a resource for our businesses by being a database to serve an entrepreneurs’ needs. Together Maestro and the City of San Antonio’s Economic Development Department is tracking small businesses to understand where local dollars are being spent, what is hindering small businesses from growing and more. With a networking function embedded into the website, registered business owners can follow each other as well send a private message. This gives an opportunity for business to business buying as well as new opportunity ventures. Along with the networking feature, MEC has also added procurement opportunities from various local agencies such as San Antonio Water System, CPS, the City of San Antonio and more. There are many additional benefits to registering to Buy Local Grow SA and the Maestro Entrepreneur Center will be registering businesses and supporting Augie’s Alamo City BBQ Steakhouse Grand Reopening. Maestro would love to reach as many small local business owners in San Antonio and assist them through the registration process so they may receive these free resources.
