The culinary commercial kitchen is an essential component of the Maestro Entrepreneur Center, since it is an untapped need in the community. Currently in San Antonio, there is no publicly-accessible commercial kitchen for those interested in starting a food business. MEC seeks to fill these needs by providing a commercial kitchen available to lease on an hourly basis, with no contracts or constraints. The kitchen space is designed to accommodate up to two businesses per hour, and small business owners will be able to reserve the kitchen space as needed with no minimum time requirements. Complementary to the space, MEC will host monthly training sessions with culinary arts leaders, celebrity chefs, and other experts in the community to help business owners grow their food businesses.
The sessions will include practical topics such as:
The monthly training sessions will be open to business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, culinary students, and anyone interested in learning about the food industry.
All individuals interested in utilizing the Commercial Kitchen are required to participate in the Accelerator Program™. Please see the above information to learn more or contact us!
